Details of the incident : Customer called in, claims it was "lost" while jet skiing or something. Says he lost his camera and what not as well. Thought the insurance he purchased might have covered it but was "too stressed" to call in before now about it. Can't afford the full replacement costs, offered 3 month repayment plan. Can't afford the 3 month payment plan, wanted to extend it out to 6 months or more, let me him know we'd really rather not. Had the audacity to ask if we could apply his rental amount to the replacement costs, explained to him that he waited over a week to notify us it was missing so technically I could charge him late fees but since he's so destitute I wasn't going to pursue him for those. Asked him if he could make any sort of down payment right away, we could then adjust the payment plan accordingly. Said he's got a couple hundred dollars but he's got to check his bank account first to be sure and will get back to us. If he calls in again get whatever you can out of him and feel free to adjust the payment plan. Tried to argue with me since the lens was totally destroyed by the swim. regardless of the level of damage dealt to the lens water damage is still water damage and that he was responsible for the full replacement costs. After that, haven't heard from him since.
